About Role

As a National Service Personnel at Penia Engineering, you will support the workshop and field service teams in delivering high-quality maintenance, diagnostics, and repair services on excavators and other heavy-duty machinery. You will gain practical experience while contributing to the smooth operation of engineering services.

Responsibilities

1.Technical Support & Maintenance

  • Assist in routine servicing and maintenance of excavators and related machinery.
  • Help in dismantling, inspecting, and assembling mechanical components.

2. Diagnostics & Repairs

  • Support in fault-finding and diagnosing mechanical or hydraulic issues.
  • Help prepare tools, parts, and documentation for repair tasks.
  • Assist senior technicians during on-site or workshop repair activities.

3. Workshop Operations

  • Organize tools and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
  • Record job progress, service reports, and parts used for each task.

4. Learning & Development

  • Participate in on-the-job training, toolbox talks, and mentoring sessions.
  • Seek feedback and actively work on skill improvement.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  1. Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  2. Good understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems (basic level).
  3. Willingness to learn, adapt, and take initiative.
  4. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  5. Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
